The Birth of an Idea

Every product's journey starts with an idea. We mostly draw inspiration from our immediate surroundings and try to combine this with the charming Viennese humor and everyday sayings that make us smile. Sometimes it's a funny expression we overhear on the street or a memory of a typical Viennese event – all these can spark a new T-shirt, hoodie, or pair of socks.

From Concept to Design

Once the idea is born, it's time to bring it to life. In intensive brainstorming sessions, we sketch out initial drafts and discuss various ways to visually implement the idea. We pay special attention to authentically capturing the dialect and unique charm of Austrian culture. Our designs should not only look good but also tell a story.

Collaboration with Artists

An important part of our creative journey is also collaborating with talented local artists. For example, we work with "Goesslie," an artist from Vienna, and "Purelines," a tattoo artist. These collaborations bring fresh and unique perspectives to our designs. In personal conversations, we exchange ideas and develop concepts together that reflect both their artistic signature and the typical Leiwande Leiberl style.

Sustainability and Quality

Sustainability is particularly close to our hearts. Therefore, we also pay attention to selecting high-quality and sustainable materials like organic cotton for our products. Our T-shirts, hoodies, and socks are not only comfortable and stylish but also environmentally friendly. We want our customers to not only enjoy the design but also feel good about wearing our products.

Production

Once the design is finalized and the textiles are selected, it's time for production. We work closely with our partner, a small Austrian family business, to ensure that every product meets our high-quality standards. From the first cut to the final stitch – every step is carefully monitored to ensure the end product is perfect.
